"State Farm customer for 20+ years across multiple states and agents. My car was parked and unoccupied and got totaled by a drunk driver. I happened to have electronics in it. Despite my car being destroyed, Colin wanted physical evidence that my electronics had been destroyed as well. (Keep in mind, we're talking about things like PCs which can be destroyed by simply dropping them.) He demanded that I pay to have them taken to a "pro" (who, ironically, had less education and experience than I do) OR bring them physically to his office for "examination". Since I'd chucked everything except my PC (in a vain attempt to get data off the HDD), I had no electronics to bring by. Now, the key electronics had already been photographed on-site by police due to being hurled from my car and laying in the parking lot, but that wasn't good enough--after all, it could be someone else's PC in the parking lot, I suppose. Yes, Colin fought so hard on behalf of State Farm that I hope they gave him a medal.

P.S.--His staff are the primary reason he has such a high rating online. They create fake accounts and then make fake reviews (at least that's what the staff said off the record when I asked why his ratings are so high.)"

"I’m an insurance agent based in another state, and from time to time I call different agencies across the country to get a feel for how other offices operate—how they answer phones and emails, how knowledgeable and courteous their staff are, and how well they handle unexpected or challenging questions. I've been in the insurance business for over 30 years, although I'm not with State Farm, and I have to say: in all that time, I have never had a better experience than the one I had speaking with Nancy Martin.
I actually called this office a while back, and I made a note to leave this review because Nancy impressed me that much. She was hands-down the most professional, knowledgeable, and polite person I’ve ever encountered in any insurance office. I even tried to trip her up with tough questions and gave her a little bit of attitude to see how she’d respond. Not only did she not stumble once—she stayed so pleasant and composed that I couldn’t even keep up the act!
I let my own team listen to the call because I felt it was a masterclass in how to handle client interactions. If Nancy were in my agency, I’d do whatever it took to keep her. I’ve already told several agent friends in the area about her, and I truly hope the agent she works with realizes what a gem they have.
Nancy is the kind of person who should be running an office, and frankly, I think she’d make an incredible agent if she ever decided to take that path. Whatever it takes, hold onto her—she’s one in a million.
